“We were fed up of proving things we knew we’d done.”
Most operators do the work. The walkarounds get done, the inspections get booked, the licences get checked. The trouble is where the proof ends up: a sheet in the cab, a PDF in the garage’s inbox, a spreadsheet on somebody’s laptop. Roadworthy was built so that when DVSA or the Traffic Commissioner asks how the fleet is run, the answer is already on file.
The Roadworthy team, Logan Logistics
What it does, job by job.
Every picture on this page is the real platform running Roadworthy’s demo operator. The operator, people, vehicles and registrations are made up.
Daily walkaround checks
A laminated QR card in every cab. The driver scans it on their own phone and does the check: big pass and fail buttons, made to be used stood by a lorry in the rain. No app and no login, so an agency driver can do a check on day one. Defects go in with photos.
Defects, start to sign-off
Who reported it, who looked at it, who fixed it and who signed it off, with the paperwork attached. A defect cannot be signed off without the evidence.
Inspections and maintenance, on one calendar
Safety inspections, brake tests, tacho calibration, MOT and tax on one calendar, with four weeks’ notice. Your garage uploads its inspection sheets through its own link, so the record is complete without chasing.
Driver licensing and CPC
Driver licence checks on a 90-day clock. Driver CPC, tacho card and licence expiries are emailed at 90, 60 and 30 days.
Drivers’ hours and tachograph
Upload card and unit files from any reader. Infringements, working time and missing days, each explained in plain English. This is the Fleet Analysis add-on.
Driver briefings, signed
Toolbox talks, memos and videos sent to the driver’s phone. They sign to say they’ve read it, and you can see who hasn’t.
The weekly transport manager record
Each week the transport manager reviews the position and signs it off. Twelve weeks of signed records are the evidence of continuous and effective management the Traffic Commissioner asks for.
Reports and the compliance pack
Build a compliance pack from the records already on file for a DVSA visit, a client audit or a public inquiry. The Operator Pack, Fleet Analysis and Jobs are add-ons.
On the driver’s own phone.

How it fits with our consultancy
We set up the system on paper: the policies, procedures and records a FORS auditor or DVSA examiner expects. Roadworthy keeps that system running every day, so the evidence is already there when someone asks for it.
Pair it with a bespoke transport manual and driver handbook, and what’s written down matches what actually happens.
Roadworthy questions
Who makes Roadworthy?
Roadworthy is made by Logan Logistics (NW) Ltd, a transport compliance consultancy based at Freckleton Business Centre in Blackburn.
How much does it cost?
Your first month is free, with no card needed to register. After that, pricing depends on your fleet. Enquire on the Roadworthy website for a quote. Fleet Analysis, Jobs and Operator Pack are add-ons.
Do drivers need an app?
No. Drivers scan the QR card in the cab with their own phone. There is no app to install and no login, so agency drivers can do a check on their first day.
Do I need it to work with J&JL?
No. Our consultancy works with whatever systems you already use. Roadworthy is there if you want one place to keep the evidence our work sets up.
Does it replace my transport manager?
No. It gives your transport manager a clear view of what is due, late or open, and a weekly record to sign. The decisions stay with them.
Want your systems audit-ready first?
We build the compliance system. Roadworthy keeps it running. Talk to us about either.
